We clean from Boise to Caldwell
Our base is in Boise, and we cover the valley towns within a short drive of it.
Houses around here tend to fall into two groups. Older homes in Boise and Garden City often have wood floors and smaller bathrooms, and their heating vents have had decades to collect dust. Newer builds toward Meridian, Kuna, Star and Middleton have tall ceilings and big windows, and construction dust keeps turning up for months after move in.
Hard water leaves spots on everything
Wells and city water across the valley run hard. You see it as white crust around faucet bases and spots on shower glass that come back a day after you wipe them. Ordinary spray cleaner just smears it around.
Getting it off takes a descaler left on long enough to soften the crust. Then the glass gets dried by hand, because water left to air dry lays down a fresh set of spots.
Dry summers bring more dust inside
Boise summers are hot and dry, and in bad fire seasons smoke hangs over the valley for days at a time. Fine ash and dust get in through window screens and settle on sills, blinds, ceiling fan blades and the tops of door frames.
A dry duster just lifts that dust back into the air. So it gets wiped with a damp cloth, and the floors get vacuumed after.
Winter tracks grit into the house
Snow days leave sand and road grit on every boot that comes through the door. The entry tile and the first stretch of carpet take the worst of it. Grit left in carpet grinds at the fibers every time someone steps on it. We vacuum entries slowly and mop hard floors out to the edges, where the grit collects.
Farm fields send dust into Canyon County homes
Nampa and Caldwell sit right up against working farm ground, and Emmett is orchard country. When fields get worked in spring and fall, fine dirt blows into garages and entries and settles on every flat surface. It builds up faster than it does in town, so regular visits matter more out there.
