How our finished work looks
A clean house comes down to details. Think of an oven window you can see through again, or a slider track with the dust and dead bugs vacuumed out. Nobody points at those things when they are done. Everyone notices when they are skipped.
Kitchens take the most time
Grease is the problem in a kitchen. Cooking puts a thin film of it in the air. It lands on the range hood, the backsplash, the cabinet fronts by the stove and the top of the fridge. There it catches dust and turns sticky.
We let degreaser sit a few minutes to loosen the greasy film before we scrub. The hood filter usually needs its own soak too.
Bathroom buildup is soap and minerals
Soap scum and hard water scale build up together on shower walls and glass. Left alone long enough, the scale etches the glass and dulls the chrome, and past a point it will not come off at all. Regular cleaning keeps it from ever getting that far.
